About Us

Collett Mechanical, Inc. is a union mechanical contractor located in Latham, NY, a suburb of Albany, New York. Our facility is strategically located with easy access to the transportation infrastructure including the New York State Thruway System, Albany International Airport and the Rensselaer Amtrak Train Station. The company provides installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial applications consisting of educational buildings, campus housing, medical office buildings, nano technology, and hotels/hospitality. We are involved with plan and spec competitive bid projects and design/build projects. Our geographical region covers the Hudson Valley region of upstate New York from Saratoga County to Sullivan County.

Founded by Jack Collett in 1991, Collett Mechanical, Inc. is a mechanical contractor, providing commercial plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning mechanical services. Market segmentation includes public and private sectors.

Safety

Collett Mechanical, Inc. is in compliance with all required safety codes. We have staff dedicated to administering our safety program. Our safety officers are responsible for providing instruction, inspecting tools, job sites, vehicles and personal protective gear. Emphasis and education on safety has become part of our culture. All of our employees completed OSHA Construction Safety programs as mandated by New York State law. Collett Mechanical has repeatedly received NESCA Gold, Silver and Bronze Safety Awards for outstanding jobsite safety.
